Q: Reflecting on your freshman year, what’s one piece of advice you would give to incoming freshmen, and why?
One piece of advice I would give to upcoming freshman would be to not take your education for granted and to not let all the other high school experiences draw you away from your priorities.
Q: Who is a teacher or staff member who has made a positive impact on your high school experience so far, and why?
A teacher who has made a positive impact on my high school experience is mrs. Williamson, boones criminal justice teacher. She always gives us the tough love we need and her hearts always in the right place, she drives us to be the best versions of ourself and is always there for us when we need her.
Q: What’s a hobby or interest you’ve pursued outside of school this year, and how has it enriched your life?
A hobby I’ve pursued is working out, I wanted to feel healthier mentally and physically and it has helped clear my mind a lot and bring back the motivation I needed to stay educated and focused at school.
Q: How do you keep up with the newest fashion trends?
I keep up with current fashion trends by using social media and observing what’s most eye catching to people, but there are many different fashion trends in different categories so we should all just wear what we’re comfortable with at the end of the day.
Q: Are there any fashion trends you wish would come back?
A fashion trend I wish would come back is 90s makeup.
